Dr. J.H. Jewels was born and raised on a family farm in the Midwest. For years, she was shared these stories as bedtime rituals which she passed down to her own children, and later, their grandchildren. What began as a personal tradition soon blossomed into something much larger as the inspiration to write these children’s books came when she noticed how children connected to the characters. In addition to writing, Dr. Jewels has a lifelong passion for teaching. Over the years, she has taught preschool students through graduate students across both private and public school systems. The joy of inspiring and educating young minds is at the heart of Dr. Jewels’ work
